For those who have the psychic capability to see spirits, this guardian will appear as a large black wolfhound with glowing red eyes. It is reserved, serious, focused, and watchful.

The Black Dog is a ghostly dog known by many names around Europe, including black shuck, padfoot, church grim, Barghest, Gytrash, lean dog, mauthe doog, moddey dhoo, rongeur d'os, gwyllgi, and other names. The large number of sightings of this apparition are apparent in the wide variety of names it has been given. Black dogs are often malevolent, foretelling death, or terrifying those who see them--however, in some of the tales they are benevolent, frightening away an attacker, or leading someone who is lost back home again. The breed of the dog varies, but it is most often described as a large hound. It has also been described as a huge mastiff, or an undetermined breed about the size of a black Labrador retriever. Its size varies from that of a normal dog to that of a horse.
