For those who have the psychic ability to see spirits, this guardian will appear as a beautiful Peacock Butterfly with a 5 foot wingspan.  It is quietly persuasive, encouraging, gentle, and caring.

The butterfly is the most powerful symbol for metamorphosis known to magick.  Its four-stage transformation is a marvel of nature.  From the quietly hopeful egg, emerges the voracious, determined caterpillar.  The caterpillar stops at nothing to achieve its goal of rapid growth.  Once its goal is achieved, it searches high and low for a safe location, and then transforms again, into a pupa.  Within the pupa, incredible, rapid changes take place, until the winged butterfly emerges, ready to seek out others of its kind, and travel vast distances to find nectar and the plants upon which its offspring may live.  A butterfly, although it appears delicate and beautiful, is also strong, determined, and powerful.  I would also like to take a moment to encourage you to help save the world's butterflies, many of which are in decline due to habitat/food plant loss and the use of pesticides.  To help your local butterflies, go native; plant some native trees, shrubs, and flowers in your yard, to provide food for caterpillars.  Many species of butterflies can use only a few species of host plants, and a plain bluegrass lawn and petunias is all they find in many suburbs. 

This guardian is available only in the Month of June.

In addition to the standard Guardian capabilities, it knows and can use magicks related to transformation, and knows and can use energy alchemy.  It may be able to teach tranformation magicks and alchemy to a telepathically receptive owner.  It will encourage postive change, improve natural psychic healing rates, and has psychic healing abilities.  It can act as an astral guide and mount, and may aid its owner in learning astral projection.  It may be able to influence others' emotions, and aid a skilled practitioner in energy system alterations.  It can create an astral realm projection around its owner in a 500 foot radius, displaying a gorgeous, flowering meadow filled with various construct plants and animals, which will come and go as though the owner were moving through the scene.  These meadow animal projections can act independently as well as together, and may have additional abilities of their own!
